About the Developer

Hey, that’s me — Josell, the developer behind ScriptReadr. Before pursuing acting, I was a software engineer at Intuit (yep, the TurboTax folks — glamorous, I know). That blend of technical expertise and firsthand experience as an actor gives me a unique lens to solve problems others might overlook. I built this app because I genuinely needed something like it — and I figured other actors did too.

I care about the things I build. This isn’t some cash grab or throwaway project. I want ScriptReadr to be something that genuinely helps actors — something that respects the craft, supports the grind, and strengthens our community. I’m committed to improving it, listening to feedback, and making sure it evolves with the people who use it.
